Warm oil massages (Abhyanga with Mahanarayana or Balashwagandhadi taila) are given daily. Janu Basti – a therapy where warm medicated oil is held on the knee in a dough boundary – is frequently used to soothe knee arthritis.

A study noted that adding Panchakarma (herbal enemas, decoctions) to routine care produced greater pain relief in knee OA. Dietary adjustments (ginger, garlic, green vegetables) and gentle yoga are also advised to support joint health.
